The Cleveland Cord Blood Center
Soon after The Cleveland Cord Blood Center (CCBC) opened
its doors in fall 2007, Ohio's first public cord blood
center hired Yopko Penhallurick to develop local, regional
and national media relations coverage as well as support
a wide-variety of marketing and public relations effortsfrom
online communications to collateral pieces, video production,
special event coordination and more.
Feature stories have been developed with a wide cross-section
of key Northeast Ohio media, ranging from The
Plain Dealer and The
Akron Beacon Journal to Crain's
Cleveland Business and Currents.
The new Web site serves the needs of audiences ranging from
expectant parents seeking information about the umbilical
cord blood donation process to the media, who can readily
access materials through the site's press room. Printed
pieces reach out to expectant parents, as well as potential
contributors and the community. Other communications, including
video accessible via a variety of delivery channels, are
in production.
