Ohio Bicentennial Commission
The
agency was selected as the exclusive public relations/marketing
agency for the Ohio Bicentennial celebration. The value of
in-state print and broadcast coverage totaled nearly $26
million. National media coverage produced 24.3 million print
impressions in the nation's top publications and reached
millions of viewers.
The agency developed more than $2 million in sponsorships
and in-kind contributions/media partnerships for Ohio Bicentennial
events and programs. Website development and promotions
resulted in an average 239,127 page views per month, a 1000
percent increase over prior year usage.
Yopko Penhallurick was awarded the Public Relations Society
of America's (PRSA) Silver Anvil for its work on the
Ohio Bicentennial the industry's most prestigious
national award.
In addition, the agency served in an advisory capacity for
special event development and management, helping turn ideas
into reality, including the Emmy Award-Winning PBS broadcast
of Ohio: 200 Years.
