The value of in-state print and broadcast coverage alone was nearly $26 million. National media coverage produced 24.3 million print impressions in the nation’s top publications and reached millions of viewers.

The agency also developed more than $2 million in sponsorship and in-kind contributions/media partnerships for Ohio Bicentennial events and programs, and the reduction of operating expenses ranging from fuel to automobile donations. Web site development and promotions resulted in an average 239,127 page views per month in 2003, a 1,000 percent increase over prior year usage.

Yopko Penhallurick was awarded the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Silver Anvil for its work on the Ohio Bicentennial – the industry’s most prestigious national award.
